Who Am I?

I’m a local Dentonite, born and raised in Sanger, TX. I’ve always loved being outdoors and in nature. After studying Outdoor Education in college, I fell in love with gardening while working on an eco-friendly farm, and went back to school for a Horticulture certificate at NCTC. I started working at Painted Flower Farm in 2021 and fell in love with native plants. I took a break to have my kids, and spent as much time as I could working in my own garden and learning to care for the landscaping around our house. Now I’m back at Painted Flower Farm, doing garden plant consultations, bed restoration and cleanup, and partnering with local designers to install new beds.

Yes. Bed restoration and cleanup is part of what I do. See the before and after photos above, including a decade-plus-old native garden bed cleaned up to make room for new plants.
